Seeking 80 speech-language pathologists to test the usefulness of a software tool designed to track jaw and lip movements for the assessment of motor speech control.

Participation involves

  • Completion of a 2-hour online training course focused on the scoring of the Motor Speech Hierarchy Probe words. 

  • Scoring jaw and lip movements of 10 children saying 40 words and 4 phrases with and without the support of the software tool, over 4 separate occasions.

  • All tasks are completed online.

  • 10 hours total expected participation time.

The Curtin University Human Research Ethics Committee has approved this study (2020-0327) and supported by a Medical Research Future Fund Grant (2016518)
